Sleep. Uninterrupted.

Sarah has slept from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am for two nights in a row. I'm hopeful . . .

Notice how the whole front of her dress is wet with drool. Ewww. She's like a leaky faucet. You've gotta love that cute face though!

Father's Day Weekend

There's my handsome hubby. He is such a great husband and father! The kids and I love to spend time with him and he is great at finding fun ways to keep us entertained. He loves to be outdoors hiking, biking, fishing, camping and the kids love it now too. I can't wait until the boys are a little older and they can go on longer adventures with their dad.
Robby-Thanks for all you do for us. We are so grateful for you. I don't know what we would do without you. Happy Father's Day!

So on Saturday we decided to go for a hike up by Snow Basin. It was a gorgeous day and the kids had a lot of fun being outside together. Savannah was gone with Robby's mom for a sleepover at her house so she didn't get to go with us. (She had a lot of fun with Grandma though).

Waterfall at the beginning of the hike

Sarah did pretty well in the baby carrier. She was a little fussy on the way up because she was hungry.

The boys up at the pond.

I just liked this shot. It was so peaceful and calm up at the pond and we sat and watched the ducks for a few minutes.

Isaac with the walkie-talkie so he could talk to Will who was about 5 feet away.

Will found an awesome hiking stick on the way up which he set down while he was throwing rocks in the pond and then Isaac picked it up and threw it in the pond. He was not too happy about that.

Playing in the water on the way down.
On Saturday night we had a barbeque and watched Napoleon Dynamite-one of the kids' favorites. (You have to love the dance scene).
Sunday we went to church and then we went to my parent's house for dinner. It was good food, good conversation and good company. I'm so grateful for my parent's and especially today for my dad. He is such a good man and he tries so hard every day to do what Heavenly Father wants him to do. He is such a great example to all of us around him. We all love him very much. Thanks dad for being such a great person. I love you very much!
We celebrated Father's day with Robby's family last weekend because Robby's dad was out of town this weekend helping Robby's brother move. I'm also very grateful for Robby's dad. He is so willing to help others and he is also a great example to everyone around him. I'm so grateful that he (and Robby's mom) did such a great job raising Robby to be the wonderful man that he is. I know it's because he has such a great dad who taught him to make good choices and always do what is right. Thanks Bill for being a great dad and also a good friend to Rob. We love and appreciate you.
Happy Father's Day!

4 Months and 4 Years Old

We went to the doctor today for a well child visit for Sarah (4 months) and for Isaac (4 years). Unfortunately for Isaac it turned into a sick visit. He started coughing on Monday and he has seemed OK over the past couple of days but today it seems to be getting worse. Luckily we already had a doctor's appointment for him and the diagnosis is croup. They prescribed a steroid once a day for three days and he says it actually tastes good, so it shouldn't be too bad.
I was sure that Sarah was going to be high on the charts this time for height and weight, but I was wrong again. Why does she seem so big to me when she is just about average?
Weight: 13.0 pounds 33%
Height: 24.5 inches 58%
Head: 16.25 inches 58%
So she's actually a little on the small side if you look at the weight and average for the other two. That is good. The doctor said she looks healthy and great!
Isaac is pretty average too. His stats were:
Weight: 35.4 pounds 49%
Height: 39.5 inches 30%
Head: 15.95 inches 60%

Four months old

I don't know where the time has gone. She is so much fun! We all do anything we can think of to get her to laugh or even smile. She is very generous with the smiles. She is so loved by all of us.

She has started napping better in the daytime now. She has even taken a couple of 2 and 3 hour naps! She is still getting up once in the night to eat, but she is a very down-to-business eater and gets it done in about 15 -20 minutes now. She is really starting to grab things and everything goes in her mouth. She is also the drooliest baby I have ever seen. She is constantly soaking wet from drooling all over herself. I keep checking for those first teeth, but nothing yet. My others were much later teethers than this, but she is just so drooly so I have to make sure that is not why.

She has only rolled over twice but I think she'll start doing it more any day now. She is always moving. She gets so excited when the kids come in the room and especially when they talk to her. She loves being around people.

We just love her so much!

Isaac's Birthday

Isaac's birthday was on the last day of school this year so it was just a party all day long. We started in the morning with gifts from Will and Savannah.

After school the kids played with friends until it was time for dinner and then we went to Arctic Circle (Isaac's pick) for some dinner and ice cream cones. The kids love playing at the play place there.

After dinner we came home for more presents and cake.

Isaac has wanted an etch-a-sketch for a few months now and he finally got one.

He also got a green notebook to draw in. Green is his favorite color.

The cake was kind of a mess, but it tasted good.

Happy birthday Isaac! We are so glad you are part of our family.

Memorial Day/Isaac's Birthday Party

We had so much fun on Memorial Day! Robby's sister Jaimee and her family were in town from Virginia and his sister Jessica and her family were here from Texas so we had almost the whole family together for Memorial Day. (We missed you Ryan and Sunny!) The guys all went hiking first thing in the morning and the kids played while the girls hung out and talked and watched the kids. We played the Wii, watched movies, played outside, played games, ate and laughed. It was so much fun to all be together! We also had a birthday party for Isaac since he is turning 4 tomorrow. We had cake and ice cream and he got some great stuff. He was very excited about it.

What a great day!

Sarah Rolled Over!

Sarah has been rolling up onto her side when she is on her back for about a week now but I thought it would take her awhile longer to make it all the over to her tummy. Nope. She rolled from back to front on Saturday. Unfortunately none of us actually saw her do it. I put her down on her back on her play mat and a few minutes later Savannah came running in the kitchen to tell me she had rolled onto her tummy.

She's only 15 weeks old and I'm not ready for her to be moving yet, but I guess I don't have much of a choice. She is going to be a mover like Will was I think.

Will's Kindergarten Program

It's always fun to watch the kids perform. Will's teacher was great this year and his program was really good. My mom came up to see him and Robby surprised him and came too. He couldn't stop smiling when he saw his dad was there. It was so cute!

They even had the moms participate in one of the dances.

Sarah enjoyed it as well.
I am so proud of Will. He has had a great year and now its on to 1st grade!
