The Day After

On Sunday we cleaned everything up at the cabin and drove to my parent's house to have Christmas with my family. My mom decided to do to Santa bags for each family instead of stockings this year. They were very cute and the kids were so excited to look in ours.

We got a movie, candy, popcorn, and games for fun family game/movie nights.

Sarah and Whitney were excited about all the treats too!

After we opened our Santa bag we had a yummy dinner. Sarah tried jello for the first time and LOVED IT!

It was all over her!

The kids could hardly wait to open their gifts from Grandma and Papa.

Will showing off his karate moves while we were waiting for everyone to finish eating.

It was finally time to open presents!

Pillow pets!!! The kids were thrilled! They have all wanted one for a long time.
Will got a panda, Isaac got a penguin, Savannah got a unicorn and Sarah got a bee. They are very cute and soft.

We gave to Ben this year and I hope he was happy with what we got for him.

A blue lava lamp and a couple of shirts.

I got some new boots and a cute red and black top. I love them both (I should since I picked them out). Thanks Mom! Robby got money towards a new gun that he is very excited about. We also got a subscription to the Ensign from my parents. We are excited about that too since ours has been expired for oh about 4 or 5 years. It will be nice to have that in the house again.

We also talked on Skype with Dan and Amber who gave to us this year and we were so excited to get new towels with our names/initials on them.

Sarah fresh from the bath and wrapped in her new towel.

They turned out really good. Thanks Amber! I know that must have taken a lot of work. We love them! Dan and Amber also gave us a new griddle. We needed one sooooo bad. I have literally been picking out pieces of teflon from our pancakes. The new one is awesome!! I love it so much!

And one last present for Sarah. I ordered this toy from Kohls online with a $10 off coupon and ended up only paying $0.45 for this toy. I love Kohls!!! It didn't come until Monday so she didn't have it for Christmas but I'm pretty sure she didn't notice.

Christmas Day

So here is what the kids saw when they came down the stairs on Christmas morning.

They were so excited! I was less so since I had about two hours of sleep. The kids were literally up half the night going to the bathroom and talking to each other. I did manage to get some sleep between 5:00 and 7:00.

Santa ate his cookies and left some crumbs

Sarah likes her new book. Maybe she'll like it better right side up.

Savannah was very excited about her new guitar

I made Jessica a rag quilt for her baby boy that is due in March. I think it turned out pretty cute.

After opening presents and having a yummy breakfast most of us headed out to go snowmobiling.

Christmas was awesome this year! It was so much fun to hang out, eat, play and just be together. Thanks so much Bill and Kim!
